How Frappucinos helped make Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey always cuts a hungry figure as she tears into her poor opponents, but she also has a fair appetite outside the octagon.
The UFC bantamweight world champion told Self magazine she canât get enough spicy chicken wings â even going so far as to fly a chef into Rio so she could get her fix on a recent trip.
âI eat about 50 hot wings,â the undefeated powerhouse said.

âI love hot wings. After my last fight, one of the UFC owners flew in a private chef from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro so that he could make hot wings, because there are no hot wings in Rio.
âThatâs how important they are to me.â
And beware anyone who tries to share a plate with the champ.
Rousey, 28, revealed she guards her wings like her undefeated record.
âThe thing is, youâve got to let me eat a couple before anyone else has any, because otherwise Iâll start eating faster,â she said.
âItâs a race to see who can eat the most. Iâm so competitive, I even compete with hot wings.â
Rousey also said her love of Frappucinos helped hone her fighting skills.
âAfter school, my friend and I would go to the Promenade, where a lot of shady characters hung out,â she said.
âI loved Frappuccinos, but I only got $5 a day for lunch.
âIf I ate, that meant I didnât have enough money for a Frappuccino.
âSo we would go over to these kids and say, âI bet you $10 I could beat up any one of youâ.
âThere were always some guys who could use the money.
âWeâd fight and Iâd do something to get them to give up, and theyâd give us $10 and weâd go get Frappuccinos.
âThat was, like, my side gig for a little while.â
