Stan strips off: Wawrinka in the buff for ESPN

Swiss tennis star Stanislas Wawrinka has left little to the imagination in a new photoshoot for ESPN magazineâs annual Body Issue.
â˘Â Whatâs got Stan Wawrinka so worked up?
⢠Nick Kyrgios flies off the handle again
In the revealing new photos, the world number four plays tennis completely naked, showing off his impressive physique.
Speaking to the magazine, the 30-year-old insisted he was not focussed on his looks when working out but his performance.
âMy body is for my tennis, itâs for my sport. Iâm not a model at all,â the tennis ace said.
âI donât work out to go to the beach, I work out to play well and to do well on the court.â
Wawrinka, who credits his fitness coach Pierre Paganini with his strength, also said he went through a chubby stage just like everyone else.
âWhen I was younger, I was a little bit fat. I wasnât like big-time fat, I was just overweight â maybe around when I was 13 or 14. At that time I wasnât practicing that much, tennis was just a hobby. But it wasnât easy to feel that way,â he said.
Despite his serious expression in the photos, the tennis pro has maintained a sense of humour about the revealing shoot, retweeting a cartoon showing him exposing himself to the Queen.
