A “silly and fun” Dancing with the Stars routine imitating US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania has gone viral.

The dance was performed on Israeli television by internet personality Taylor Malkov and professional dancer Haim Pershtein over the weekend.

Video clips of the pair dressed as the Trumps and jiving to the President’s favoured theme tune YMCA have since clocked up millions of views.

The act opens with a rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner as the Israeli performers stand side by side at a podium, hands over hearts.

The female dancer wears Melania’s distinctive hat from her husband’s inauguration. She gives the Trump character a stern look as he leans in and puckers up for a kiss.

The music then transitions to the Village People’s classic hit as the duo cuts up the dance floor, with Melania stripping out of her conservative dress to expose her sequinned showgirl bodysuit.

One post sharing the video on X received more than two million views and numerous favourable comments celebrating the “popularity” of the Trumps.

“This is a must-watch,” wrote @VividProwess, who shared the clip. “They absolutely killed it.”
