Bolt told the audience heĀ had received ā1000 comments and emailsā, withĀ ā99 per centā of the authors swearing to never vote Liberal again after the leadership change.
āWhere are they going to go?ā he asked.
In response to a question, Bolt agreedĀ Mr Bernardi could beĀ the man for the job.
āI must say, there is talk ā really loose talk, Iām not beating it up into something bigger than it is ā of where is there a party for conservatives? Will there be, in the future, a party for conservatives? I think that might turn out to be the problem. In the Senate you might get conservatives thinking, āIāll vote for someone elseā.ā
South Australian Senator Bernardi has been recently slammed ā by colleagues and the opposition āĀ for describing Syrian asylum seekers as āopportunisticā and linking same-sex relations to bestiality.
