Woman doused in petrol, set alight
A woman from Tasmania is in an induced coma after she was allegedly splashed with petrol and set alight by her partner.
The 43-year-old has serious facial burns and was rushed to the Royal Hobart Hospital, police say.

The woman’s partner, a 45-year-old Austins Ferry man, has appeared in Hobart Magistrates Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
He was remanded to reappear in court on Monday.
The incident is believed to have taken place in the garage of the couple’s Austins Ferry home.
