The exhibition will also feature works from Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei, a political activist and blogger who has been a prominent voice in Chinaâs democracy debate.
This intersection of Chinese and American culture will comprise more than 300 works and will be on display until April 2016.
The pieces on display will include new commissions, immersive installations, paintings, sculpture, film, photography, publishing and social media.
Some of Warholâs most celebrated works, like his famous Campbellâs Soup painting or his iconic Three Marilyns, will be featured.
Weiwei described the opportunity to be featured alongside one of the worldâs greatest artists as âa privilegeâ.
